Method

The RiverHub method

A four-stage teaching sequence used in every breakout confirmation and false-break avoidance session.

Tutor and student reviewing documents at a wooden table

Every RiverHub session — clinic, intensive, or review — follows the same teaching spine. It keeps the room focused on behaviour at the edge of a range rather than on collecting more indicators.

1

Mark

Define the range with agreed rules: swing points, session boundaries, and what counts as a closed bar. Ambiguous marks are redrawn before any trade talk begins.

2

Probe

Study how price first touches or pierces the boundary. We catalogue probes that fail quickly so you recognise them in live tape without flinching into size.

3

Confirm

Require evidence — retest hold, location of the close, and volume behaviour relative to the prior bars — before treating the break as confirmed.

4

Journal

Write what you saw in plain language. The journal is graded in the room so the next session starts from your real habits, not from memory.
